Wow! My phone has an 8MP camera, its almost as good as your 10MP cannon camera! That statement is completely false but many people don't know its not the megapixels. Its the size and quality of the CMOS sensor. While a phone may have a 8MP camera it probably has1/20'th of an inch CMOS sensor. And a camera may have a 1/8 or 1/4" cmos and have the same resolution and you can guess which one is going to have the higher image quality. Another factor is the quality of the CMOS sensor thats why there is competition between camera brand of course.
Nice post, a lot of people seem to not understand it and think...woah my phones camera is better than that.... purely because the number of MP is greater
