Whats the advantage of OLED (organic light emitting diode)? Well there is no backlight unlike LCD and LED TVs when a black image is shown on the screen the pixels can individually turn off producing a pure black image with no back light bleed. If you own or have seen a Samsung galaxy phone you may have noticed how nice the screen looks this is because is uses amoled technology with no backlight. Another advantage is that these screens have the ability to be flexible which will result in a whole wide range of uses of this new display type!
Can't wait to have mine. ;) Facebook Twitter
